PWD Support Services Organized Around Your Schedule

We offer a variety of services. In addition, we work with you in planning our programs so that you can undergo them when you want. Our services are designed for persons with cognitive and physical disabilities in and around Kingman, AZ.

Day Treatment Adult (DTA)

Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM

This service is done in a home-like setting. It involves increasing daily living skills to help a person become more independent. These include cooking, cleaning, communication, health and safety, vocational, functional academics, social skills, home living, recreation, and community skills.

You can expect us to accompany you to public places, go on tours, do some grocery shopping, and watch movies. We’ll also go on walks, visit the park, take vacations, engage in sports activities such as bowling, and many more.

Respite Services (RSP)

We provide the family members of PWDs with the time they need to do what they want. They can go shopping, go out to eat, visit friends, attend an event, or just sit down and relax.

Family members who want to take a vacation or have to address an emergency can check our availability for overnight services. RSP can be done in your home, in one of our HCBS-licensed certified homes, or somewhere within the community.

Attendant Care (ATC)

This is a person-specific service, and it involves taking care of the personal needs of an individual in their own home. ATC works best for persons who are unable to take care of themselves or those who require assistance in doing so.

Services include companion time, supervision, Special Olympics, appointments, shopping for personal items/food, feeding, cooking, bathing, dressing, and some light housekeeping of the client’s personal area.

Habilitation (HAH)

This service is designed to increase the abilities of one person for a specified amount of time, such as increasing money skills, physical activities. It could also involve learning to budget money, making choices of outings and time management, cook, practicing proper hygiene, attending social events, or learning a new vocational skill. These are great ways to increase the independence of the individuals we serve.

Group Supported Employment (GSE)

GSE involves working alongside several individuals to increase their vocational skills. This is typically done at our thrift store, Renewable Goods.

The goal is to help PWDs become self-sufficient in their duties so they can apply at other locations, such as local department stores, pet stores, restaurants, etc. This gives them the opportunity to find out what type of job they want for their career.

Job Support

Individual Supported Employment (ISE) and Employment Support Aide (ESA)

One of our job support personnel will work alongside an individual at a job location of the latter’s choosing. While there, he or she will learn how to do the tasks at hand.

As an individual increases his or her knowledge and capabilities, the job support personnel will spend less time with him or her. Once ready, the individual will no longer need support and will be able to function at their job of choice with minimal supervision.

Thrift Store

When you shop at our thrift store, you're helping us provide services to persons with developmental disabilities. Several of the employees who help you at the store have disabilities themselves. As previously mentioned, we provide GSE at this location.

At our thrift store, you can find the following new and used items:

  • Clothing
  • Appliances
  • Furniture
  • Knickknacks
  • Jewelry
  • Tools
  • Yard Items
  • Linens
  • And Much More!
